terms & Conditions


These are the terms and conditions on which XANA Couture (“our”, “us”, “we”) supply our designer dresses to the Clients or Renter (“you”) and on which you use our website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your order to us.

These terms and conditions were last updated in November 2023. XANA Couture may update these terms and conditions from time to time, so please check back regularly to ensure you have the most current version.

Acceptance of Contract

When you order on our website or where you agree to the terms of an order via email, and a contract have been attached, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in full.

Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between Client and XANA Couture. Until this time, there is no legally binding relationship between parties. You will be assigned an order number which you need to use for contact purposes.

Our services

Your dream dress

In order to make a custom dress with an existing design or your dream dress according to your measurements, we provide a contract. Before we start creating the dress of your dreams, you need to review and sign the contract.

  • You need to provide all your measurements 6-12 months (depends on complexity of the dress) before your wedding date.

  • Your gown will be dispatched:

    4-6 weeks before your special date

    3-5 business days after ordering a Ready to wear gown

  • Payment must be made within 2 days after signing the contract.

  • If you cancel your order of custom made dress within 14 days after signing a contract, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

  • If you cancel your order of a custom made dress within 15 - 30 days after signing a contract, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the price of your dress.

Sample Sale

We also offer dresses for sale. By purchasing a sample item you understand that the garment is pre-loved and may not be in perfect condition.

  • All sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns or refunds on online sale items.

  • Any alterations, cleaning or repairs are to be made at your own expense.

  • Your online sale gown will be dispatched within 14 days from the placement of your order.

Rental

We offer evening gowns bridal dresses to rent, as detailed in these terms and conditions, and as are priced on our website. We will send a contract to you via e-mail. You need to review carefully and sign it.

Gowns may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the dresses on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colour accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colour accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your gown may vary slightly from those images.

price & payment

  • The rented wedding dress requires a security deposit. The security deposit rate is the amount of the cost of the dress (retail price). It should be submitted via PayPal or e-transfer and the difference will be credited to the Renter via same method when the rental is complete (the rented wedding dress returned in proper condition). After returning the rented wedding dress to XANA Couture the Renter will receive the amount with deduction of the rent of the dress and possible deductions, such as for dry cleaning, damage to the dress, etc.

  • For a custom made dress remotely, XANA Couture require 2 deposits over the course of creating your gown. Deposits may be made by PayPal or e-transfer.

  • For a custom made dress in person, we require 4 deposits over the course of creating your gown. Deposits may be made by PayPal or e-transfer.

  • For a sample sale we require full price. Payment may be made by via our website or e-transfer.

alterations

If you have any concerns about a dress you purchased on sale, please contact us. If possible, we can alter the dress to your size for an additional fee.

XANA Couture do not take any responsibility for any adjustments or alterations needed to be made on your gown by third-party seamstress.

shipping

Sample Sale gowns will be dispatched 10 business days from when you place the order.

The rented wedding dress shall be delivered to Renter and returned to Owner at the Renter’s risk, cost and expense.

We are not responsible for delivery delays outside of our control.

care of the gown

The Renter binds to take good care of the rented wedding gown. The Renter will not spray any perfume on it nor cause any damage to it.

The rented wedding dress may not be altered to fit and must be returned in their original condition. If the rented wedding dress is returned altered, fees will be charged.

The Renter shall not pledge or encumber the rented wedding dress in any way.

Any rips, tears or damage to the rented wedding dress shall be deducted from the security deposit posted by the Renter.

damage & unreturn

When you rent a dress, you are responsible for the wellbeing and care of it. This includes hanging the dress appropriately using the dedicated dress loops and keeping the garments in a cool place with limited natural light.

For security purposes, all dresses are photographed and documented prior to rental, before shipping, and once received back to us, as a record of the condition of the dress. We use and reference these images for instances where the condition on arrival is challenged.

You are solely responsible for the gown you have rented and are therefore liable for any damage or loss that occurs during the rental period.

Regardless of whether you are personally responsible for the damage, you remain liable for reimbursement of the cost of the dress because, in signing for your delivery, you agree to take responsibility for the package.

Damage fees will be applied if there is evidence of damage above what is considered normal wear-and-tear of the dress. 

Normal wear-and-tear is defined as: expected, minor damage or signs of use that can occur during the normal course of wearing and handling the dress. Examples include: minor dirt or smudges on the hemline due to contact with the ground, slight creasing or wrinkling from sitting or movement, minimal fraying or loose threads or small and unobtrusive stains.

Damage as a result of negligence, mishandling, or intentional misuse will incur a repair charge, set at the discretion of XANA Couture.

return and exchanges

your dream dress / Made to order customized

Your dress is custom-made according on your size and height, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges.

  • Please ensure your measurements are correct prior to your wedding date. We are not responsible for any adjustments or changes that need to be made to your dress.

  • If you want to change your dress or wedding date, you should tell us as soon as possible. You may be subject to additional priority fees.

  • If you cancel your order within 30 days of purchasing your custom made dress, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the price of your dress.
